Access for All

The Hanna and Mimi Ohio Theatres are barrier-free environments for your theater-going convenience. Seating locations, restrooms, drinking fountains and telephone facilities are provided for wheelchair guests. Please advise the box office of your need for a wheelchair location when ordering your tickets.

Large type programs are available at the House Manager's Office. The Hanna and Mimi Ohio Theatres are equipped with a sound augmentation system to aid guests with hearing impairments. Wireless headsets are available at the House Manager's Office. You will need to provide identification.


Seating

There are 12 handicap accessible seats in the Hanna Theatre. All are wheelchair accessible and provide room for companion seating. Wheelchair accessible seats are located in Row G of the Main Orchestra level. There are 32 handicap accessible seats in the Mimi Ohio Theatre, of which 20 are wheelchair accessible and provide room for companion seating. Wheelchair accessible seats are located in the boxes, located in Section B on the main floor.

Sign Interpreted Performances

Sign-interpreted performances are offered during one Sunday matinee performance of each Great Lakes Theater production. Consult the performance calendar for performance dates and times. For more information, contact Kelly Schaffer Florian.

Audio-described performances for guests with visual impairments are offered during one Sunday matinee performance of each Great Lakes Theater production. Consult the performance calendar for performance dates and times. Call Kelly Schaffer Florian (216.241.5490 x318) for ticket information. Wireless headsets and audio description provided by the Cleveland Sight Center.
