Calling All Former Great Lakes Theater Actor-Teachers!
Great Lakes Theater Seeks Alumni of Its School Residency Program to Celebrate 45 Years of Impact.
(Cleveland, OH) – Great Lakes Theater (GLT) is proud to announce the 45th Anniversary of its School Residency Program, one of the region’s longest-running and most successful arts-education initiatives. To honor this remarkable milestone, GLT is planning a season-long celebration recognizing the generations of actor-teachers who have brought the magic of theater into classrooms across Northeast Ohio.
The anniversary festivities will include a series of special events and show discounts throughout the 2025–26 season, culminating in a ceremony honoring these valued individuals at the 2026 Backstage Bash, GLT's annual gala, held on March 7, 2026.
Great Lakes Theater is reaching out to all past actor-teachers who have participated in the residency program over its 45-year history. Whether you spent one season in classrooms or built a long tenure with the program, we want to celebrate your contribution to this legacy of arts education.
We invite all former actor-teachers to provide their contact information so that we can provide updates and details about these upcoming anniversary events. Please fill out this online form to provide your contact information. No phone calls, please.
Join us in celebrating the impact of 45 years of bringing theater to students and help us honor the generations of teaching artists who made it possible.
