DonateGodspell - 1971
Generally speaking, the "musical" genre made its Great Lakes Theater debut with the company's 1971 production of Godspell. While this first musical theater production was initially deemed a risky endeavor, the ambitious undertaking proved immensely popular, resulting in standing-room-only performances! Musicals, especially Broadway Musicals, have been an important staple of Great Lakes Theater season lineups ever since.
We are grateful to the Kulas Foundation for its generous support of our musical theater productions each season - presented as part of the "Kulas Musical Theater Series at Great Lakes Theater."
