Great Lakes Theater Seeks Youth Performers for "A Christmas Carol"

CLEVELAND, OH — Great Lakes Theater (GLT) is seeking talented youth performers, ages 6–13, for its annual production of A Christmas Carol.

Auditions will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Great Lakes Theater’s rehearsal studios. Youth performers should be prepared to sing up to 16 bars of their favorite song a cappella and may be asked to read from the script. Auditions will be conducted by Victoria Bussert and Lauren Marousek.

Auditions are by appointment only and must be reserved by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025. To schedule an audition, please visit greatlakestheater.org/work-with-us/auditions. Appointment confirmations will be sent via email within one week of reservation. No phone calls, please. Youth performers should bring a headshot and résumé to the audition. Rehearsals begin November 8, 2025, with performances scheduled November 29–December 21, 2025. NOTE: Due to truancy laws in Ohio, please be certain to check with your school's administration office regarding attendance policies.
