Mysteries Solved: A Conversation with Les Roberts

Great Lakes Theater presents a pre-show discussion/performance event featuring Cleveland’s most famous mystery writer before The Mousetrap.

CLEVELAND, OH – Great Lakes Theater (GLT), Cleveland’s Classic Company, will present a pre-show discussion and performance event with acclaimed writer, producer and northeast Ohio resident, Les Roberts, entitled Mysteries Solved, in conjunction with the company’s production of the iconic, Agatha Christie murder mystery The Mousetrap, at the Hanna Theatre, PlayhouseSquare on Friday, March 23rd. Commencing at 6:00 p.m. with a pre-show discussion featuring Les Roberts in the Hanna Theatre’s Salon, the event will culminate in a performance of Great Lakes Theater’s main stage production of The Mousetrap at 7:30 p.m. as part of GLT’s Classics and Conversations audience engagement series.

A Cleveland Arts Prize (literature) and Sherwood Anderson Literary Award-winner, Les Roberts is the author of twenty-three novels, a dozen short stories, eight screenplays and countless newspaper articles. He is renowned in northeast Ohio for his fourteen mystery novels which feature the Slovenian detective, Milan Jacovich. In addition to his literature writing, during his twenty-four years in Hollywood, Roberts wrote and/or produced more than two-thousand half-hours of network and syndicated television, including The Lucy Show, The Andy Griffith Show, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and The Hollywood Squares (the game show’s first producer). Complete biography information is available at www.lesroberts.com/about/.

Tickets for the discussion/performance event range in price from $20-$50 and are available by calling (216) 241-5490 x302 or by ordering online.
