Great Lakes Theater Shines Holiday Spotlight on Area Choirs During "A Christmas Carol"
Community choirs from across northeast Ohio will entertain patrons before performances of A Christmas Carol at PlayhouseSquare.
CLEVELAND, OH – Fourteen area choirs from across northeast Ohio will provide musical merriment for audience members before select performances of Great Lakes Theater’s (GLT) 23rd annual production of A Christmas Carol (Carol) at the Ohio Theatre, PlayhouseSquare. Each thirty-minute, pre-performance concert will commence forty-five minutes before scheduled curtain times of A Christmas Carol in the festively decorated lobby of the Ohio Theatre.
“We’re truly grateful to our holiday choir partners for sharing their extraordinary talents with our A Christmas Carol audiences,” said GLT’s Marketing and Public Relations Director, Todd Krispinsky. “In addition to celebrating a gifted collection of singers, our annual choir collaboration initiative affords an amazing benefit for our audience members, affirms our company’s long-standing commitment to community partnerships and provides a robust and affordable entertainment option for families seeking to create a unique holiday memory.”
All audience members must present a valid ticket to the day/evening’s performance of A Christmas Carol to gain entry to the Ohio Theatre lobby for the concert and/or the performance. Tickets for Great Lakes Theater’s production of A Christmas Carol (December 2-23) range in price from $28-$60 (student tickets $26) and are available by calling (216) 241-6000, by ordering online or by visiting the PlayhouseSquare Ticket Office.
