A member of the senior management team, the Production Manager (PM) supervises all aspects of production for a producing model that includes three independently operated companies: Great Lakes Theater, in Cleveland, Ohio; Idaho Shakespeare Festival, in Boise; and Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, in Incline Village, Nevada. The PM oversees all scheduling, budgeting, contracting, production design supervision and implementation, and recruitment of production staff for each company. The PM leads the daily administrative operations of the production department. This position reports directly to the Producing Artistic Director and the Executive Director. In 2002, Idaho Shakespeare Festival (Boise, Idaho) and Great Lakes Theater (Cleveland, Ohio) conceived a unique, strategic producing alliance designed to maximize return on organizational investments, increase production efficiencies, and create long-term work opportunities for artists. Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival (Incline Village, Nevada) joined the collaboration in. The alliance’s three independent, 501c3 regional theaters have shared over 60 jointly-created productions. GLT’s season spans September through May. ISF is an outdoor theater operating from May through September. LTSF operates from June through August.
