Kyra Cutsail

Kyra Cutsail (she/her) is thrilled to join Great Lakes Theater as an Actor-Teacher for the 2026–2027 season!

Originally from southern Delaware, Kyra earned her BFA in Theatre Directing with a Communications concentration from Marietta College, where she also completed the McDonough Leadership Certificate Program. Her work in theatre has taken her through performance, directing, arts administration, and education. She recently completed Cleveland Public Theatre’s Operations Apprenticeship and currently works as a theatre instructor and director at Fairmount Center for the Arts.

Kyra’s artistic interests include dramaturgy, script analysis, theatre history, and exploring the many ways artists bring text to life. Selected performance credits include Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Sara Tansey in The Playboy of the Western World, Ilse in Spring Awakening, and Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods. She is excited to continue connecting with artists, students, and audiences throughout Northeast Ohio with Great Lakes Theater.
