Kelly joined Great Lakes Theater’s (GLT) education department in July of 2000 as Education Associate. In 2013, Kelly became the Director of Educational Services, while continuing to manage GLT’s expansive Student Matinee program, which connects over 16,000 students and educators from schools across 17 counties to the classics each season.
In addition, Kelly has also designed and edited GLT’s series of Teacher Preparation Guides, co-coordinated the company’s summer drama camp for students and provided leadership for all departmental graphic design elements and collateral. Prior to joining Great Lakes Theater, Kelly worked as Educator Coordinator for the SFX Broadway Series in Cincinnati, Ohio where she also served the Subscription, Group Sales and Ticketing Departments in the years preceding her education appointment.
An accomplished stage manager with a B.A.C in Theatre from Bowling Green University, Kelly has collaborated with a host of regional arts organizations and theaters that include Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Ensemble Theatre (Cincinnati), The Human Race Theatre, Porthouse Theatre and Weathervane Playhouse (Newark). Kelly resides in Lakewood, Ohio with her husband Phil and their two daughters Clara and Beatrice.

Great Lakes Theater Camp
Daily classes will be held at Brook Park Elementary School in a two-week session from Monday through Thursday, June 12-22, 2023. The program is designed for students of all levels of experience and ability.
