John Williams is from St. Louis, MO.
He received a bachelor’s in general theatre from Sterling College and more recently received his Master of Letters and a Master of Fine Arts in Shakespeare and Performance from Mary Baldwin University. During his time Mary Baldwin John enjoyed playing roles like Arbaces in Beaumont and Fletcher’s A King and No King, Lear and the Fool in King Lear, and John Littlewit in Ben Jonson’s Bartholomew Fair.
Favorite regional credits include Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing, Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night, Squire Trelawney in Treasure Island (Endstation Theatre co.), and George Bailey in It’s A Wonderful Life - A Live Radio Play (Silver Line Theatre Exchange).
He is very enthusiastic about Waffle House, video games, good books, and epic movies. Most of all, John is very excited to share his love of theatre with students in the Cleveland area.

Great Lakes Theater Camp
Daily classes will be held at Brook Park Elementary School in a two-week session from Monday through Thursday, June 8-18, 2026 (no Fridays). The program is designed for students of all levels of experience and ability.
