David Hansen (he/him) is a twenty-year veteran of the Great Lakes Theater School Residency Program.
David became Education Outreach Associate in 2013. David has performed in GLT outreach tours, including Chekhov’s On The Harmful Effects of Tobacco and as Arthur Miller in Seeing Red. David also wrote and performed in the outreach touring plays Sherlock Holmes Meets the Bully of Baker Street, On The Dark Side of Twilight, the Agatha Christie adaptations The Mysterious Affair at Styles and The Secret Adversary, and a prequel to Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing entitled Double Heart (The Courtship of Beatrice and Benedick).
David has performed his award-winning solo performance on stillbirth, I Hate This (a play without the baby) in Cleveland, Chicago, Minneapolis, New York City and on a tour of Great Britain, and in 2009 David took his solo performance And Then You Die (How I Ran a Marathon in 26.2 Years) to the New York International Fringe Festival. David is a member of the Dramatists' Guild of America. He received a BFA in Theatre Arts from Ohio University. http://davidhansen.org

Great Lakes Theater Camp
Daily classes will be held at Brook Park Elementary School in a two-week session from Monday through Thursday, June 12-22, 2023. The program is designed for students of all levels of experience and ability.
