Chloe Otterson (she/her) is a teaching artist, director, writer, dramaturg, producer, and performer who is passionate about community-based theatre, new work, and arts outreach.
She loves using Shakespeare to empower student voices and tell specific stories. An antiracist Shakespeare scholar, her research interests include Shakespeare, race, and contemporary performance. Chloe is a Shakespeare & Company affiliated teaching artist and she has worked with a variety of theatres and schools including the Shakespeare Theatre Company, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, and the Baltimore Shakespeare Factory. Chloe also has experience as a classroom teacher, most recently serving as the Director of Theater at St. Paul’s School.
