A Statement from Great Lakes Theater

The boards and staffs of Great Lakes Theater, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, and  Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival stand in support of artists, educators, audiences, and community members of color and in solidarity with those who are committed to eradicating racism, hatred and bigotry in all of its forms.   

Theater elicits compassion, empathy, and a determination to create a better world - a world in which safety, equity, and justice are rights for every person.  

Together we will work to make this new world a reality.
