Spotlight: Our Directors & Designers

It is time to spotlight those offstage artists who are integral to all of our productions - directors and designers! These artists' unique visions come together to make each Great Lakes Theater production a true work of art.

Check out examples of their work and listen to streaming audio from recent Director's Night pre-show discussions. Enjoy some insider info about the original design process for our annual production of A Christmas Carol. Plus, be sure to download some family-friendly coloring pages created from our designers' renderings!

Listen in on a conversation with Victoria Bussert and Gene Emerson Friedman to get the inside scoop about how directorial and design concepts came together to create Great Lakes Theater's iconic and enduring holiday production of A Christmas Carol for Northeast Ohio audiences during its inaugural year in 1989.
