(Cleveland, OH) - Great Lakes Theater (GLT) will shine the spotlight on a different Northeast Ohio choir 30 minutes prior to each performance of A Christmas Carol. The sounds of the season can be enjoyed by audience members from within the Mimi Ohio Theatre as over 430 individuals from 16 Northeast Ohio choirs perform holiday classics.
Choirs will perform pre-show according to the following schedule:

·         Friday, November 29 - The Men of Independence
·         Saturday, November 30 (matinée) - St. Joseph Parish Choir
·         Saturday, November 30 (evening) - The Singing Angels         
·         Sunday, December 1 - Divine Word Choir & Friends
·         Thursday, December 5 - Constellation Schools Old Brooklyn Honors Choir
·         Friday, December 6 - Constellation Schools Parma Community High Concert Choir

THE MUSIC MAN and JULIUS CAESAR Launch Great Lakes Theater's 2019-20 Season

CLEVELAND, OH (August 20, 2019) - Great Lakes Theater (GLT) will commence its 2019-20 season at the Hanna Theatre, Playhouse Square with a Fall Repertory that features the Tony-winning Broadway musical classic, The Music Man and Shakespeare’s epic political tragedy, Julius Caesar. The productions will be performed in rotating repertory September 27 – November 10, 2019. Victoria Bussert will direct The Music Man and Julius Caesar will be directed by Sara Bruner. Cleveland's Classic Company at the Hanna Theater presents a Tony-Winning Rock 'n' Roll Tribute MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET.

CLEVELAND, OH - Great Lakes Theater (GLT), Cleveland’s Classic Company, concludes its 2018-19 season with the Tony-winning rock ‘n’ roll tribute, Million Dollar Quartet. The production will be performed in the company’s intimate home at the Hanna Theatre, Playhouse Square, May 3-26, 2019. GLT’s production of Million Dollar Quartet will feature a number of Broadway actors from shows such as Monty Python’s Spamalot, Hello Dolly!, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Anything Goes and more playing the iconic quartet and supporting roles. Tony-Winning Broadway star, Hunter Foster, directs.

Cleveland's Classic Company at the Hanna Theatre presents Shakespeare's Uproarious Battle of the Sexes THE TAMING OF THE SHREW

The production features an Elizabethan theater-inspired design concept and an immersive onstage seating experience for audiences.
CLEVELAND, OH - Great Lakes Theater (GLT), Cleveland’s Classic Company, continues the second half its 57th season with Shakespeare’s uproarious battle of the sexes, The Taming of the Shrew. The production will be performed in the company’s intimate and audience-friendly home at the Hanna Theatre, Playhouse Square, March 29 – April 14, 2019. Sara Bruner, longtime GLT artistic company member who played the role of Kate in the 2011 GLT production of The Taming of the Shrew, directs. GLT’s upcoming production of The Taming of the Shrew features actor Jessika Williams in the show’s title role.
