Great Lakes Theater will present CAMP THEATER! – a summer drama camp held at Berea High School for students ages 4-18. Students can sign up for one or both weeks of camp, which will run June 10-14, and June 17 – 21, 2013. Immersing participants in interactive and educational theater-based activities, CAMP THEATER! is a unique opportunity for students to work with and learn from Great Lakes Theater professional teaching artists in a fun, safe and supportive environment.

CLEVELAND, OH - Great Lakes Theater (GLT), Cleveland’s Classic Company, commences the second half its 2013-14 season with Noël Coward’s comedy, Blithe Spirit. The production will be performed in the company’s revolutionary and audience-friendly home at the Hanna Theatre, PlayhouseSquare, February 22 – March 10. 2013. Charles Fee, GLT’s Producing Artistic Director, directs the production.

Great Lakes Theater (GLT) will launch the world premiere of DOUBLE HEART: The Courtship of Beatrice and Benedick, a free hour-long touring production scheduled to visit twenty-one neighborhood venues throughout northeast Ohio, to kick off the company’s 2013 series of Surround outreach programming. The play, an imagined prequel to Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, is written in poetic verse by NE Ohio playwright and Supervisor of GLT’s School Residency Program, David Hansen, and features a touring company of four actors directed by Lisa Ortenzi. CLEVELAND, OH - The stage of the Ohio Theatre, PlayhouseSquare will glow with good spirits and time-honored tradition when Great Lakes Theater (GLT) presents its annual production of Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol, running November 30 – December 23, 2012. The production has delighted more than 600,000 people in its history, making it one of northeast Ohio’s most-loved and best-attended holiday events.
