Cleveland's Classic Company at the Hanna Theatre presents Shakespeare's Sublime Battle of Wits & Wills, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING

CLEVELAND, OH - Great Lakes Theater (GLT), Cleveland’s Classic Company, continues the second half its 58th season with Shakespeare’s sublime battle of wits and wills, Much Ado About Nothing. The production will be performed in the company’s intimate and audience-friendly home at the Hanna Theatre, Playhouse Square, March 27 – April 11, 2020. Great Lakes Theater’s own Producing Artistic Director, Charles Fee, directs the production.

Great Lakes Theater is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture. Additionally, the Great Lakes Theater 2019-20 Season is made possible in part by state tax dollars allocated by the Ohio Legislature to the Ohio Arts Council (OAC). CLEVELAND, OH - Great Lakes Theater (GLT), Cleveland’s Classic Company, commences the second half its 2019-20 season with the ultimate whodunit thriller, Sleuth. The world-class production will be performed in the company’s intimate and audience-friendly home at the Hanna Theatre, Playhouse Square, February 14 – March 8, 2020. GREAT LAKES THEATER IS GRANTING ONE YOUNG ACTOR’S SPECIAL WISH DURING THIS SEASON’S A CHRISTMAS CAROL

(Cleveland, OH) - Great Lakes Theater (GLT) is creating even more magic this holiday season by granting the wish of one remarkable young actor during A Christmas Carol. A Special Wish Cleveland contacted Great Lakes Theater earlier this year to help make one wish recipient’s desire of being an actor come true. Excited to make this dream a reality, everyone at GLT jumped in to make it possible to have Amelia, the special wish recipient, as part of the cast in our upcoming production of A Christmas Carol.

OVER FIFTEEN LOCAL CHOIRS WILL SING BEFORE PERFORMANCES OF A CHRISTMAS CAROL

(Cleveland, OH) - Great Lakes Theater (GLT) will shine the spotlight on a different Northeast Ohio choir 30 minutes prior to each performance of A Christmas Carol. The sounds of the season can be enjoyed by audience members from within the Mimi Ohio Theatre as over 430 individuals from 16 Northeast Ohio choirs perform holiday classics.
 
Choirs will perform pre-show according to the following schedule:

·         Friday, November 29 - The Men of Independence
·         Saturday, November 30 (matinée) - St. Joseph Parish Choir
·         Saturday, November 30 (evening) - The Singing Angels         
·         Sunday, December 1 - Divine Word Choir & Friends
·         Thursday, December 5 - Constellation Schools Old Brooklyn Honors Choir
·         Friday, December 6 - Constellation Schools Parma Community High Concert Choir
