Gabe Heffernan is a Nicaraguan-American actor, singer, poet, and educator.
He is a graduate from Benedictine College, earning a BA in Theatre Arts. During his undergraduate, Gabe spent a few months working with inmates in the Living Shakespeare program in Lansing, Kansas. After graduating he spent time in Minneapolis as an actor while teaching in a Montessori school and tutoring. Most recently, he worked as an actor in Salt Lake City and as a field mentor at a wilderness therapy program in central Utah.
Gabe is interested in bilingual storytelling and Spanish and Latin American theatre traditions. When not making theatre, he is usually traveling, hiking, backpacking, writing poetry, reading or hosting his podcast Poetry Lantern.

Great Lakes Theater Camp
Daily classes will be held at Brook Park Elementary School in a two-week session from Monday through Thursday, June 12-22, 2023. The program is designed for students of all levels of experience and ability.
