Great Lakes Theater (GLT), Cleveland’s professional classic theater company at Playhouse Square, seeks an energetic, self-motivated and detail/deadline-oriented multitasker who possesses meticulous organizational skills to join a creative/collaborative team. This team member works with the company’s Director of Institutional Advancement to execute the organization’s marketing/communications plans and exceed ticket-related earned income goals.
The position negotiates/executes media buys, manages the production of marketing collateral elements, coordinates direct mail campaigns, produces broadcast spots, administers digital/email campaigns, curates/develops content for the company’s website and social media channels and assists with other communications-related writing and initiatives.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and three or more years of experience in any/many of the following related areas: marketing, communications, media buying, publishing/editing, social media, radio/television spot production, graphic design and media relations. Successful candidates are results-oriented and possess exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills. Experience with ticketing and/or ticket-based software is a plus as is experience in creating/publishing video content online.
