CLEVELAND, OH - Great Lakes Theater (GLT), Cleveland’s Classic Company, commences the second half its 2014-15 season with Frederick Knott’s murder mystery masterpiece, Dial “M” for Murder. The production will be performed in the company’s intimate and audience-friendly home at the Hanna Theatre, PlayhouseSquare, February 27 – March 22, 2015. Charles Fee, GLT’s Producing Artistic Director, directs the production. Dial “M” for Murder is presented through special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.

THE NEW LINEUP FEATURES A PAIR OF SHAKESPEAREAN CLASSICS, TWO TONY AWARD-WINNING MUSICALS , AND A MURDER MYSTERYTHRILLER.
CLEVELAND, OH – Charles Fee, Producing Artistic Director of Great Lakes Theater (GLT), unveiled an ambitious, six-production array of classics to headline the company’s 2015-16 season. Great Lakes Theater’s fifty-fourth year is scheduled to run from September 2015 through May 2016 at PlayhouseSquare’s Hanna and Ohio Theatres.
GLT will commence its 2015-16 season with the Tony-winning musical, The Secret Garden, presented in rotating repertory with Shakespeare’s towering tragedy, King Lear (September 25 - November 1, 2015). The company’s annual production of Dickens’ holiday classic, A Christmas Carol (November 28 - December 23, 2015)

Great Lakes Theater (GLT) will launch the world premiere of THE GREAT GLOBE ITSELF, a free touring production scheduled to visit twenty-seven neighborhood venues throughoutnortheast Ohio, to kick off the company’s 2015 series of Surround outreach programming. The one-act play is written and directed by David Hansen, GLT Education Outreach Associate, and features a touring company of three actors. The tour commences on March 3rd, continues through April 2nd and is designed to support Great Lakes Theater’s upcoming mainstage production of The Tempest at the Hanna Theatre, PlayhouseSquare which opens in April. All performances of the touring production are free and open to the public, with the exception of performances at area schools, which are private.

CLEVELAND, OH (September 2, 2014) - Great Lakes Theater (GLT) will commence its 2014-15 season at the Hanna Theatre, PlayhouseSquare with a Fall Repertory that features William Shakespeare’s uproarious battle of the sexes, The Merry Wives of Windsor and a new production of Boublil and Schönberg’s Tony Award-winning musical epic, Les Misérables. CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) will present its fifteenth annual All-City Musical, RENT to crown the District’s 2013-14 series of All-City Arts Programming.
