Great Lakes Theater Festival subscribers and friends are invited to endow individual seats in the newly renovated Hanna Theatre.  Funds generated by the seat campaign will be designated to the Festival’s permanent endowment. The endowment will support our education programs including our Student Matinee Series which brings almost 20,000 students a year to see Shakespeare and other classic works performed by a professional acting company for a minimum ticket price of $11.00.

You may endow a seat for $2,500.  With more than 300 seats available, imagine the impact your gift will have as thousands of students enter the historic Hanna Theatre—many for the first time in their lives—to see classic texts like "Macbeth" come to life before their eyes.

We invite you to leave a legacy for all to enjoy for generations to come.

Each chair you buy* will feature a plaque on the back of the seat engraved with your name or the name of a friend or loved one whom you would like to honor or memorialize. In addition to a donor plaque on each seat you purchase, your gift to the Take a Seat Campaign will be acknowledged at a dedication reception to which you and up to 2 guests will be invited. You will also be recognized in the 2009-2010 Season Playbill.
