Each Medallion and Roundel can be personalized. You may wish to designate it with your name or dedicate one for a special occasion, like an anniversary, a birthday, or to honor a loved one. To reach the level on the Wall that you desire, you may consider teaming up with a friend, other family members, or a group you’re affiliated with to pool your gifts.

On the rotating Quote Medallions, one side will have the quote and the other your name or honoree. You may personally select an exclusive Shakespeare quote. Each quote will only appear once on the wall.

Inspiration and Design

The Hanna Theatre, built in 1921, is an architectural gem with a tremendous theatrical history that includes world premieres and performances by illustrious actors and actresses. With our architect Paul Westlake, we wanted to honor the classic elements of the theater while introducing a contemporary feeling.

The Medallion Wall will offer GLTF’s friends and family an opportunity to be a permanent part of the Hanna Theatre. The two gently curved walls located at the back of the audience chamber will feature handsome hardwood panels with a painted pattern inspired by the historic ceiling. The center section of each wall will have three dimensional Medallions fixed on rotating spindles. Rotating Medallions will feature Shakespeare quotes so that audience members can connect to some of the most influential and inspiring poetry in the English language.

We invite you to become a permanent part of the Hanna’s future, and also help ensure that our children – for generations to come – will enjoy excellent classic theater in a world-class space.
