Seventeen seasons at Great Lakes Theater
Dan is responsible for creating and maintaining our education programs for both students and adults throughout Northeast Ohio. He graduated summa cum laude from both Baldwin-Wallace College (B.A., Theatre) and the University of Akron (M.A., Theatre). Daniel served as supervisor of Great Lakes Theater’s School Residency Program for four years where he worked as an actor-teacher during the 1995-96 season. Daniel is also a graduate of New York City’s American Music and Dramatic Academy, as well as the National Shakespeare Conservatory’s acting program. As an actor he has appeared in numerous productions including The Diary of Adam and Eve in Volgograd, Russia and Hedda Gabler at Dobama Theatre. As a playwright he has written two educational touring plays for the Festival, Before the Storm, which he also directed, and most recently, Seeing Red. As a director he has staged the 1999 All-Ohio Show in Columbus and Macbeth at Baldwin-Wallace College, where he teaches Theater Management as well as Creative Dramatics.
