Twelve seasons at Great Lakes Theater
Bob Taylor was named to GLT's Executive Director post in July 2003, and in that role he manages a number of areas for the theater including finance, development, human resources, planning, and general administration. Before coming to Great Lakes Theater, he worked as business manager for several for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, including Karamu House. Bob has an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, and an undergraduate degree from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
He was recently selected to participate in National Arts Strategies' (NAS) prestigious Chief Executive Program and is a fellow of the 2004 Executive Program for Nonprofit Leaders in the Arts, a program co-sponsored by NAS and Stanford Graduate School of Business. Bob has served as mentor to graduate students from Case Western Reserve University’s Mandel School of Nonprofit Management and regularly is asked to speak on career opportunities in theater management.
Bob is also the Executive Director of Great Lakes Theater's partner theater, the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival.
